Reviews

Tellwell author Kay Sparling received a five-star review from Reader Views for his book Mission Thaw!

Kay Sparling’s “Mission Thaw: a Kaitlyn Stewart Spy Thriller,” is a pedal-to-the-medal adventure from the first page to the last. It takes talent to maintain that momentum across 330 pages, but I gobbled this one down in two sittings and was never bored for a moment.

It’s another five-star reviewed by Reader Views for Curse of Ashmedei by Michal Snaerravn

Readers will discover here a dark epic fantasy layered with profound meaning yet maintaining a storyline of loyalty, strength, perseverance, and hope when all seems lost. Each of the characters struggles in their own way with the concept of fate vs. free will. This tale has the poignant ability to provide a myriad of complex characters while allowing the reader to invest in them as the personalities delight, fascinate, and/or annoy us. This grand and satisfying story has the talons of a war crow and the heart of an eagle as it holds readers tightly in its grasp and takes them on an epic journey that will sink deeply into their souls.

It’s a perfect rating for Chasing Shadows by Lauren Gouin, also earning five-star review from Reader Views!

Across this work, the poems are marked with inflection of voice, allowing us to feel every fragment of the writer’s emotion in each line. Lauren’s behind-the-curtain exploration of the connection between relationships and emotions achieves much. In conclusion, Lauren Gouin’s “Chasing Shadows” is undoubtedly a moving poetry anthology that will capture the heart of everyone who enjoys reading about the complexities of the human heart.
