What inspired you to get into the field of book publishing?
The desire to help authors share their voices with the world. Guiding a book from concept to completion, knowing it has the potential to impact readers’ lives, is what truly motivates me.

What does a typical day look like for you as a book-publishing consultant?

A typical day involves collaborating with various teams. I start by checking inquiries from clients, providing insights on trends, and recommending the best services for their book projects. I also offer guidance and advice to authors who are new to the publishing process.

What is the most rewarding part of helping authors with the self-publishing process?

seeing authors bring their stories to life and knowing I helped make it happen.

Can you walk us through the steps you take to help an author publish their book?

They involve conducting a consultation to understand the author’s goals and vision, guiding them through the publishing process, and recommending customized services for their book project.

What are some common challenges authors face during the self-publishing process, and how do you help them overcome them?

Maintaining motivation, managing time effectively, and navigating each milestone. I support them by providing clear guidance and strategic assistance to keep them on track throughout the process.

What are some common misconceptions authors have about self-publishing, and how do you address them?

Many authors mistakenly believe that self-publishing lacks credibility or that they can manage the entire process on their own. I clarify that self-publishing can be a legitimate and professional choice, and I stress the value of seeking assistance and expertise in editing and marketing to boost their book’s success.

What advice would you give to someone who is considering self-publishing their book?

I recommend that they conduct thorough research on the self-publishing process, set realistic goals, and think about seeking professional assistance.

By offering clear guidance throughout the publishing process and fostering an open, supportive environment. This helps them feel empowered and informed at every stage.

Concerns about credibility and quality. I address these by assuring them that self-publishing is a legitimate option, highlighting the need for quality services, and offering step-by-step support to make the process easier.

For authors who are on a tight budget, what steps can they take to still achieve their publishing goals?

Authors on a tight budget can achieve their publishing goals by prioritizing essential services and offering a payment plan for the package they’re interested in.
