Author Spotlight

Tellwell author Joseph Camel’s book, Little Joe in the Big City, is now featured on the iconic Times Square billboard in New York City.

Elysia and Mark Stevens were featured in The Lookout for their novel Smelling Daisies, praised for its blend of humour, heart, and humanity.

Tellwell author Arwinder Kaur’s book, Living While Human, was featured on Times Square billboards, marking another milestone in her award-winning literary journey.

Glenda Toews was recently spotlighted in the Chilliwack Progress for her book, Spinning On A Barstool, a compelling true story inspired by her encounter with a “wealthy” con artist.

Tellwell author Hunter Snow, author of Rock Crush and Roll, was featured in Tinnitist.com, discussing her novel’s mix of steamy moments and humour, including a fun story about her copy editor laughing out loud.

Tellwell author Tammy Gunn was featured on thesafetymag.com, discussing Dancing Through Diagnosis and supporting employees with cancer through empathy and wellness.

Jill Macdonald, author of The Tales of Sophie Shenanigans, was recently featured in Literary Titan, showcasing her creative journey and the stories behind her work.

Chelee Cromwell is making history as the first Black woman in Nova Scotia to introduce science fiction fantasy romance with her Newbia series. She recently shared her journey on CTV Morning Live.

Cindy Lane’s Smelly Begins was featured in Barrie Today, where she discussed the lessons within her book and shared insights into the creative process behind its creation.

In My Write Mind by Tellwell author Joel Emery was featured in the Windsor Star and Chatham Voice. This deeply personal collection of thoughts and illustrations provides comfort and validation for those dealing with anxiety and life’s challenges.

Karen Cumming appeared on TVO TODAY, discussing her book The Wealthy Martian, a financial literacy guide covering basics and DRIP for parents, teens, and more.

Tellwell author Sharon-Ann Brown, author of Bedtime for Baby Alfie, was featured in the Regina Leader-Post, sharing her journey with the beloved children’s book.

Book Award

Tellwell author Joanne Kim has won the Young Adult Fiction award at the 2024 International Impact Book Awards for her book The Enforcer’s Tale.

Rebecca Brown, author of Shelter from Our Secrets, Silence & Shame, has won a bronze medal at the 2023 Living Now Book Awards in the Health and Wellness category.

Aly Brisha’s novel Mamluks of Thunder Island has won a Silver Award at the 2024 Literary Titan Book Awards.

Terry Eissfeldt and her book, Anna Wells and the Mystery of the Dusty Duchess, received a 2024 International Impact Book Award in the Mystery and Detective Stories for Young Adults category.

Glenda Toews, the author of Spinning On A Barstool, has been recognized with a Silver Award in the category of Overall Grand Prize Non-Fiction by Reader Views.

Sharon Stevens-Smith’s Runtie & Tudie’s Grand Sailing Adventure is a finalist in the International Book Awards for Children’s Picture Book: Hardcover Nonfiction.

Karen Harmon’s Class of ’78 won Best Cover Design (Fiction) at the 2024 Next Generation Indie Book Awards, and was a finalist in the Chick Lit Fiction category.

Tellwell author Marytė A. Running has won the 2024 Next Generation Indie Book Award (NGIBA) for her book, Hats for Hailey, in the Children’s/Juvenile Early Readers/Chapter Books (Fiction) category.

Vince Santoro recently won the 2024 International Impact Books Award for his historical fiction novel, The Final Crossing: A Tale of Self-Discovery and Adventure.

Michael B. Davison, author of the book Defiant Valor, won Gold in the Non-Fiction Authors Association.

Don Hunter won the 2024 International Impact Books Award for his book Chronic Pain under the Addiction and Recovery Category.

Peter Gribble has earned Gold in the Literary Sci-Fi category at the 2024 LA BookFest for his debut book, Threat.
